What Living in the Jungle Has Taught Me

Hi my loves,
This month was a major milestone moment for me as I (unexpectedly) had the opportunity to move back into my old Ubud apartment (yay!) I still have some upcoming sessions in Canggu - if that is you don't freak out, I'll be there for your session :) but I am planning my move back to Ubud permanently over the next month.
If you haven't been to visit me in this space, I highly recommend booking in - it's like no other. If you do want to switch location for your session and make the trip to Ubud, just message me and we can arrange.
I was reflecting on what makes this space so special. And I wanted to share a few takeaways from my 3 years of living in the Jungle. I'm going to be focusing more on blog posts, sharing my stories and "real life experiences" - since everyone is so curious!! So.....
Here's what living in the jungle has taught me:
God is in nature
Anytime you feel alone, or in need of healing - turn to nature. I truly believe you will find God there. I receive so much guidance, spiritual downloads and peace just from living here. And it's a testimonial I receive from my clients all the time. Sadly we become disconnected, distracted and forget! It CAN be that simple. Waking up each day immersed in leaves is an instant mood boost. It reminds me of my connection to life and the cycles that we move through. Whenever I have a question, I turn to the window, and something shows me the way.....
It's okay to be a loner
This environment accepts and empowers me for being alone. Perhaps you are like me and often feel like an outsider, (star seeds and empaths hello?!) We feel different in this work, because we our soul walks a lonely or unique path. But here in the jungle I'm surrounded by all kinds of animals, birds, butterflies, geckos, dragonflies... Being witness to this all, in my own little "zoo" helps me celebrate my differences.
In the modern world, bombarded with social media, it's so easy to compare ourselves constantly to everyone else. The second I stepped outside of "normal society" and into a jungle I felt zero comparison. What a relief!
I believe my connection to nature helps me to be more open hearted and pure intentioned. One of the sad paradigms of the modern world is that we are turned against one another - when we live in a state of threat/comparison/envy or seeing everyone as an enemy - the nervous system is constantly fighting by default. Being immersed here throws me into my own little "Maia" cave, where compassion and awe is the natural selection.
Storms come and go, they connect us to our power
Have you ever danced in a jungle storm? Here in Bali the weather is dramatic. When it rains, it pours. Everything stops, but you truly feel the power of the island come alive. Time to go inward, time to reflect, time to cleanse and release. After learning Shamanic healing I truly connected with the elements on another level. That's when I would ask the storm "what are you here to teach me?" "What am I ignoring?" "What are you clearing away?" God brings messages in the rain and maybe there's some deeper power hidden in your shadow, that you've buried deeply, waiting to be connected with....
I hope you enjoyed these reflections. For any of you wanting healing, tarot or mentorship sessions, you can book here. Online worldwide sessions always available.
